We used to greet one another during the prayer and speak about our needs. I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was praying and greeted him, but he did not return my greeting. I was overcome with worry about what had happened in the past and what had just occurred.When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the prayer, he said, "Allah brings about whatever He wills in His affairs, and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has now decreed that you are not to speak during the prayer."Then he returned my greeting.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا أبان حدثنا عاصم عن أبي وائل
كنا نسلم في الصلاة ونأمر بحاجتنا فقدمت على رسول الله ﷺ وهو يصلي فسلمت عليه فلم يرد علي السلام فأخذني ما قدم وما حدث فلما قضى رسول الله ﷺ الصلاة قال إن الله يحدث من أمره ما يشاء وإن الله جل وعز قد أحدث من أمره أن لا تكلموا في الصلاة فرد علي السلام
