I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying, and from his chest came a sound like the humming of a millstone from his weeping ﷺ.
حدثني عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن سلام حدثنا يزيد يعني ابن هارون أخبرنا حماد يعني ابن سلمة
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يصلي وفي صدره أزيز كأزيز الرحى من البكاء ﷺ
Its isnad is sahih. Nasai narrated it in "Sahw," chapter on weeping during prayer, no. 1215, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama, with this wording. Nawawi graded it sahih in Riyad al-Saliheen, no. 451, in my edition.
