The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently say in his bowing and prostration, "Glory be to You, Allah, our Lord, and praise be to You. Allah, forgive me," interpreting the Quran by it.
Bukhari narrated it in tafsir, chapter on the surah "When the help of Allah and victory come", section 2, hadith 4968, and Muslim narrated it in Prayer, chapter on what is said in ruku and sujud, hadith 484, from the hadith of Jareer with this same wording.
