The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you prostrates, he should not kneel down as a camel kneels. Rather, he should place his hands down before his knees."
حدثنا سعيد بن منصور حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد حدثني محمد بن عبد الله بن حسن عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا سجد أحدكم فلا يبرك كما يبرك البعير وليضع يديه قبل ركبتيه
Its isnad is hasan. Nasai transmitted it in the chapter on Tatbiq, in the section on the first part of the human body to touch the ground during prostration, hadith 1092, from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi, with this wording. Tirmidhi also narrated it, hadith 269, and said, "gharib." Hakim recorded it according to the standard of Muslim, 1/226, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has a corroborating narration which Dhahabi graded sahih.
