The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us one day while we were reciting the Quran and said, "Praise be to Allah. The Book of Allah is one, and among you are the red, among you are the white, and among you are the black. Recite it before there come people who will straighten it as an arrow is straightened, seeking its reward in this world rather than deferring it to the next."
حدثنا أحمد بن صالح حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب أخبرني عمرو وابن لهيعة عن بكر بن سوادة عن وفاء بن شريح الصدفي

[Its chain is daif] Ahmad narrated it, 5/338, from the hadith of Ibn Lahia, through him, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1786. It contains Wafa bin Shurayh, whose reliability is unknown, and no one besides Ibn Hibban has verified him as trustworthy. The preceding hadith makes this one unnecessary.
