In every prayer there is recitation. What the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited aloud for us, we recite aloud for you, and what he recited silently, we recite silently for you.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد عن قيس بن سعد وعمارة بن ميمون وحبيب عن عطاء بن أبي رباح أن
في كل صلاة يقرأ فما أسمعنا رسول الله ﷺ أسمعناكم وما أخفى علينا أخفينا عليكم
Reported by Muslim, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on the obligation of reciting Fatihah in every rakat, etc., hadith no. 396, from the hadith of Habib bin Shahid, and Bukhari, in the Book of Adhan, chapter on recitation during Fajr, hadith no. 772, from the hadith of Ata bin Abu Rabah, with the same chain.
