The Prophet ﷺ in this hadith, when he prostrated, his knees touched the ground before his palms did. When he prostrated, he placed his forehead between his palms and held his arms away from his sides.Hajjaj said, and Hammam said, Shaqiq narrated to us, Asim bin Kulayb narrated to me, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ something similar to this. In the hadith of one of them, and to the best of my knowledge it is the hadith of Muhammad bin Juhadah, when he rose, he rose on his knees, supporting himself on his thigh.
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Bayhaqi transmitted it: 2/98, 99, from the hadith of Hajjaj bin Minhal, through the same chain. Abdul-Jabbar did not hear from his father, as mentioned before at 724, and Shaqiq is majhul (Taqrib), and his hadith is mursal.
