Abu Hurairah reported,

The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "When a dog licks a vessel, wash it seven times, the seventh time with dust."

[Its chain is sahih] Nasai narrated it, in the Book of Purification, chapter on scouring the vessel with dust when a dog has licked from it, hadith no. 340, from the hadith of Qatada, with this wording, and Daraqutni graded it sahih, 1/64.
