I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When he said the takbir, he raised his hands. Then he wrapped himself in his garment, took his left hand with his right, and placed his hands inside his garment.When he wanted to bow, he would take his hands out, then raise them. When he wanted to lift his head from the bowing, he raised his hands. Then he prostrated and placed his face between his palms. When he raised his head from prostration as well, he raised his hands, and he continued doing so until he finished his prayer.Muhammad said, "I mentioned this to Hasan bin Abu al-Hasan, and he said, 'This is the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Whoever does it, does it, and whoever leaves it, leaves it.'"

صليت مع رسول الله ﷺ فكان إذا كبر رفع يديه قال ثم التحف ثم أخذ شماله بيمينه وأدخل يديه في ثوبه قال فإذا أراد أن يركع أخرج يديه ثم رفعهما وإذا أراد أن يرفع رأسه من الركوع رفع يديه ثم سجد ووضع وجهه بين كفيه وإذا رفع رأسه من السجود أيضا رفع يديه حتى فرغ من صلاته قال محمد فذكرت ذلك للحسن بن أبي الحسن فقال هي صلاة رسول الله ﷺ فعله من فعله وتركه من تركه
[Shadh] Ibn Hazm reported it in al-Muhalla, 4/91, 92, from the hadith of Abu Dawud through this route, and Ibn Khuzayma declared it sahih, no. 905, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 489. His statement, "and when he raised his head from sujud, he also raised his hands," is shadh, and its meaning, if it is sound, is that when he raised his head from the sujud of the second rakat and wished to rise from the tashahhud, he raised his hands. This is the hadith of Hammam, and Muslim reported it, no. 401, and it is a sahih hadith.
