Shuba reported it as a marfu hadith, saying, "The prayer is interrupted by a menstruating woman and a dog."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا يحيى عن شعبة حدثنا قتادة قال سمعت جابر بن زيد يحدث
رفعه شعبة قال يقطع الصلاة المرأة الحائض والكلب
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Nasai reported it, Qibla, chapter on mentioning what interrupts the prayer and what does not, etc., no. 752, and Ibn Majah, no. 949, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan, with the same wording. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 832, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 412.
