Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Straighten the rows, align your shoulders, close the gaps, and be gentle in the hands of your brothers." Isa did not mention the phrase "in the hands of your brothers." "Do not leave openings for Satan. Whoever joins a row, Allah will join him, and whoever cuts off a row, Allah will cut him off."

لم يذكر ابن عمر أن رسول الله ﷺ قال أقيموا الصفوف وحاذوا بين المناكب وسدوا الخلل ولينوا بأيدي إخوانكم لم يقل عيسى بأيدي إخوانكم ولا تذروا فرجات للشيطان ومن وصل صفا وصله الله ومن قطع صفا قطعه الله
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Nasai narrated it in the Book of Leadership in Prayer, chapter on one who joins a row, hadith no. 820, from Isa bin Ibrahim in abridged form. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith no. 1549, and Hakim graded it as meeting the conditions of Muslim, 1/213, and he was agreed with.
