I saw some men praying behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with their lower garments tied around their necks because the garments were so small, looking like little children. A speaker called out, "Women, do not raise your heads until the men raise theirs."
حدثنا محمد بن سليمان الأنباري حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي حازم
لقد رأيت الرجال عاقدي أزرهم في أعناقهم من ضيق الأزر خلف رسول الله ﷺ في الصلاة كأمثال الصبيان فقال قائل يا معشر النساء لا ترفعن رءوسكن حتى يرفع الرجال
Muslim narrated it, in the chapter "The Prayer, on Instructing Women Praying Behind Men," hadith no. 441, from the hadith of Waki. Bukhari also narrated it, in the chapter "The Prayer, on When the Garment is Tight," hadith no. 362, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri, through the same chain.
