The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me to say at the call to the sunset prayer, "O Allah, this is the coming of Your night, the departing of Your day, and the voices of those who call to You, so forgive me."

[Hasan] Tirmidhi related it in the Supplications, chapter on the supplication of Umm Salama, no. 3589, from the hadith of Abu Kathir with this wording, and he said, "It is a rare hadith." Hakim graded it sahih (1/199), and Dhahabi agreed with him.
