The Prophet ﷺ forbade killing four kinds of creatures, the ant, the bee, the hoopoe, and the shrike.
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Hunting, Chapter on What is Forbidden to Kill, h: 3224, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq, with this wording, and it is in his Musannaf, h: 8415, and in Musnad Ahmad, 1/232, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, h: 1078. Zuhri used the form "ان" without specifying direct transmission, and the hadith has daif corroborating narrations.
