Imran bin Husayn reported,

In the days of ignorance we used to say, "May Allah give delight to the eye through you," and, "May your morning be pleasant." When Islam came, we were forbidden from saying that.Abdul-Razzaq reported that Muamar said, "It is disliked for a man to say, 'May Allah give delight to the eye through you,' but there is no harm in saying, 'May Allah delight your eye.'"

كنا نقول في الجاهلية أنعم الله بك عينا وأنعم صباحا فلما كان الإسلام نهينا عن ذلك قال عبد الرزاق قال معمر يكره أن يقول الرجل أنعم الله بك عينا ولا بأس أن يقول أنعم الله عينك
