The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should honor his guest. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not harm his neighbor. And whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Manners, chapter "Honoring the guest and serving him personally," etc., hadith no. 6138, from the hadith of Mamar. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith, chapter "Encouragement to honor the neighbor," etc., hadith no. 47, from the hadith of Zuhri, with the same wording. It is also found in Musannaf of Abdul-Razzaq, hadith no. 19746.
