Abu Hurairah reported,
with the same meaning, adding that he feared he might accuse him of lying about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he allowed it.

Darussalam
Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions, chapter on the virtues of Hassan bin Thabit 
, hadith no. 2485, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of the Beginning of Creation, chapter mentioning the angels, peace and blessings of Allah be upon them, hadith no. 3212, from the hadith of Zuhri, through the same chain.
