The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, you will be called by your names and the names of your fathers, so choose good names for yourselves."
حدثنا عمرو بن عون قال أخبرنا ح و حدثنا مسدد قال حدثنا هشيم عن داود بن عمرو عن عبد الله بن أبي زكريا
قال رسول الله ﷺ إنكم تدعون يوم القيامة بأسمائكم وأسماء آبائكم فأحسنوا أسماءكم
Its chain of transmission is daif. Abd bin Humayd narrated it (213) from Amr bin Awn, and Ahmad (5/194) narrated it from the hadith of Hushaym, by this same route, and the defect is evident.
