The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever relieves a Muslim of one of the hardships of this world, Allah will relieve him of one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever eases the burden of someone in difficulty, Allah will ease his burdens in this world and the next. Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the next. And Allah remains in the aid of His servant as long as the servant remains in the aid of his brother."
حدثنا أبو بكر وعثمان ابنا أبي شيبة المعنى قالا حدثنا أبو معاوية قال عثمان وجرير الرازي ح و حدثنا واصل بن عبد الأعلى حدثنا أسباط عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح وقال واصل قال حدثت عن أبي صالح ثم اتفقوا
عن النبي ﷺ قال من نفس عن مسلم كربة من كرب الدنيا نفس الله عنه كربة من كرب يوم القيامة ومن يسر على معسر يسر الله عليه في الدنيا والآخرة ومن ستر على مسلم ستر الله عليه في الدنيا والآخرة والله في عون العبد ما كان العبد في عون أخيه
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Remembrance and Supplication, chapter on the excellence of gathering to recite the Quran and to remember Allah, hadith no. 2699, from the hadith of Amash by this chain, and he stated explicitly that he heard it directly. It is also found in Musannaf of Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, 9/85. Tirmidhi also narrated it, hadith no. 1930, from the hadith of Asbat bin Muhammad by this chain.
