The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not permissible for a Muslim to shun another Muslim for more than three days. If he meets him and greets him three times and the other does not return the greeting, then the one who refused has borne the burden of sin."
حدثنا محمد بن المثني حدثنا محمد بن خالد ابن عثمة حدثنا عبد الله بن المنيب يعني المدني قال أخبرني هشام بن عروة عن عروة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يكون لمسلم أن يهجر مسلما فوق ثلاثة فإذا لقيه سلم عليه ثلاث مرار كل ذلك لا يرد عليه فقد باء بإثمه
