A man cursed the wind. Muslim's version states that the wind snatched a man's cloak during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, so he cursed it. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not curse it, for it is under command. Whoever curses something that does not deserve it, the curse returns upon him."

أن رجلا لعن الريح وقال مسلم إن رجلا نازعته الريح رداءه على عهد النبي ﷺ فلعنها فقال النبي ﷺ لا تلعنها فإنها مأمورة وإنه من لعن شيئا ليس له بأهل رجعت اللعنة عليه
Its chain is daif. Tirmidhi transmitted it in "Al-Birr wal-Silah," chapter on what has been said concerning cursing, no. 1978, from Zayd bin Akhzam with this wording, and he said, hasan gharib. Qatada narrated with an'ana (using an ambiguous transmission formula). It has a daif corroborating narration mentioned earlier, no. 4905.
