The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is given a gift should reciprocate it if he is able. If he cannot, let him praise the giver, for whoever offers praise has shown gratitude, and whoever conceals the favor has been ungrateful."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا بشر حدثني عمارة بن غزية قال حدثني رجل من قومي
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أعطي عطاء فوجد فليجز به فإن لم يجد فليثن به فمن أثنى به فقد شكره ومن كتمه فقد كفره
Its isnad is daif. Abu Yaala narrated it, no. 2137, from the hadith of Bishr bin Mufaddal, with this wording. The hadith has daif corroborating narrations in Tirmidhi, no. 2034, and Ahmad, 6/90, and elsewhere.The hadith of Yahya bin Ayub was narrated by Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad, no. 215.It contains Shurahbil bin Saad, whom the majority graded daif.
