A man came in to see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with traces of yellow dye on him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ rarely confronted anyone face to face with something he disliked, so when the man left, he said, "If only you would tell this man to wash that off himself."
حدثنا عبيد الله بن عمر بن ميسرة حدثنا حماد بن زيد حدثنا سلم العلوي
أن رجلا دخل على رسول الله ﷺ وعليه أثر صفرة وكان رسول الله ﷺ قلما يواجه رجلا في وجهه بشيء يكرهه فلما خرج قال لو أمرتم هذا أن يغسل ذا عنه
