Umar bin Khattab used to forbid men from entering through the women's gate.
حدثنا قتيبة يعني ابن سعيد حدثنا بكر يعني ابن مضر عن عمرو بن الحارث عن بكير
أن عمر بن الخطاب كان ينهى أن يدخل من باب النساء
Sourcing, its chain of transmission is daif. Ibn Hazm reported it in Al-Muhalla, 3/131, 132, from the hadith of Abu Dawud through the same route. See the preceding hadith for its defect.
