The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of deeds is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah."

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ahmad reported it: 5/146, from the hadith of Yazid bin Abu Ziyad, as above, and he is daif, a mudallis, and one whose memory was mixed up, and there is an unknown man whose name we could not identify.
