The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that the compensation for a miscarried fetus is a slave, a maidservant, a horse, or a mule.
حدثنا إبراهيم بن موسى الرازي حدثنا عيسى عن محمد يعني ابن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
قضى رسول الله ﷺ في الجنين بغرة عبد أو أمة أو فرس أو بغل
[Its isnad is hasan] Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Diyat chapter, Ma Ja fi Diyatil-Janin, no. 1410, and Ibn Majah, no. 2639, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr Laythi through this same chain, and Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih.
