He asked about the Prophet's ﷺ ruling on that matter, so Haml bin Malik bin al-Nabighah stood up and said, "I had two wives, and one of them struck the other with a tent pole, killing her and her unborn child. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled that a slave be paid as compensation for the unborn child, and that she be put to death."

أنه سأل عن قضية النبي ﷺ في ذلك فقام حمل بن مالك بن النابغة فقال كنت بين امرأتين فضربت إحداهما الأخرى بمسطح فقتلتها وجنينها فقضى رسول الله ﷺ في جنينها بغرة وأن تقتل
