A man from the tribe of Banu Adi was killed, and the Prophet ﷺ set his blood-money at twelve thousand.

أن رجلا من بني عدي قتل فجعل النبي ﷺ ديته اثني عشر ألفا
[Its isnad is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it in Diyat, chapter on what has been said regarding the blood money, how much it is in dirhams, hadith 1388, and Nasai, hadith 4807, and Ibn Majah, hadith 2629, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Muslim Taifi through this route. Nasai criticized it, but the correct view is that it is hasan.
