A man from Bakr bin Layth came to the Prophet ﷺ and confessed four times that he had committed adultery with a woman. The Prophet ﷺ gave him a hundred lashes, since he was unmarried, then asked him to produce evidence against the woman. She said, "By Allah, he is lying, Messenger of Allah."So the Prophet ﷺ gave him the punishment for false accusation, eighty lashes.
