He used to serve the Prophet ﷺ. In this report he said, the Prophet ﷺ performed ablution in such a way that no dust clung from it, then he ordered Bilal to call the adhan. The Prophet ﷺ then stood and prayed two rakahs without haste. He then said to Bilal, "Call the iqamah for the prayer." Then he prayed the obligatory prayer without haste.The narration is from Hajjaj, from Yazid bin Sulayh, who said, Dhu Mikhbar, a man from Abyssinia, narrated to me. Ubayd said, Yazid bin Salih.
حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحسن حدثنا حجاج يعني ابن محمد حدثنا حريز ح و حدثنا عبيد بن أبي الوزير حدثنا مبشر يعني الحلبي حدثنا حريز يعني ابن عثمان حدثني يزيد بن صالح
وكان يخدم النبي ﷺ في هذا الخبر قال فتوضأ يعني النبي ﷺ وضوءا لم يلث منه التراب ثم أمر بلالا فأذن ثم قام النبي ﷺ فركع ركعتين غير عجل ثم قال لبلال أقم الصلاة ثم صلى الفرض وهو غير عجل قال عن حجاج عن يزيد بن صليح حدثني ذو مخبر رجل من الحبشة وقال عبيد يزيد بن صالح
[Its chain is daif] and Ibn Mulaqqin graded it sahih in Tuhfat al-Muhtaj, 1/420, no. 475, and the hadith has corroborating reports. Yazid bin Salih is of unknown status and cannot be relied upon, and his being deemed reliable by Abu Dawud has not been established, but the basic hadith has corroborating reports.
