A blind man had a slave woman who had borne him a child, and she used to insult the Prophet ﷺ and disparage him. He would forbid her, but she would not stop, and he would rebuke her, but she would not be deterred.One night, she began disparaging the Prophet ﷺ and insulting him, so he took a short blade, placed it on her belly, and pressed down on it, killing her. A child fell out from between her legs, and the area was smeared with blood.In the morning, this was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He gathered the people and said, "I implore by Allah the man who did this, if he has any regard for my right over him, that he stand up."The blind man stood and made his way through the people, trembling, until he sat before the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "Messenger of Allah, I am the one who did it. She used to insult you and disparage you, and I would forbid her but she would not stop, and I would rebuke her but she would not be deterred. I have two sons by her like two pearls, and she was a kind companion to me. But last night, when she began insulting you and disparaging you, I took a short blade, placed it on her belly, and leaned on it until I had killed her."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Bear witness that her blood is of no account."
حدثنا عباد بن موسى الختلي أخبرنا إسمعيل بن جعفر المدني عن إسرائيل عن عثمان الشحام عن عكرمة قال
أن أعمى كانت له أم ولد تشتم النبي ﷺ وتقع فيه فينهاها فلا تنتهي ويزجرها فلا تنزجر قال فلما كانت ذات ليلة جعلت تقع في النبي ﷺ وتشتمه فأخذ المغول فوضعه في بطنها واتكأ عليها فقتلها فوقع بين رجليها طفل فلطخت ما هناك بالدم فلما أصبح ذكر ذلك لرسول الله ﷺ فجمع الناس فقال أنشد الله رجلا فعل ما فعل لي عليه حق إلا قام فقام الأعمى يتخطى الناس وهو يتزلزل حتى قعد بين يدي النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله أنا صاحبها كانت تشتمك وتقع فيك فأنهاها فلا تنتهي وأزجرها فلا تنزجر ولي منها ابنان مثل اللؤلؤتين وكانت بي رفيقة فلما كان البارحة جعلت تشتمك وتقع فيك فأخذت المغول فوضعته في بطنها واتكأت عليها حتى قتلتها فقال النبي ﷺ ألا اشهدوا أن دمها هدر
