The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until the sun rises from its place of setting. When it rises and the people see it, everyone upon the earth will believe. But that will be the time when 'no soul will benefit from its faith if it had not believed before or earned good through its faith' [Anam 6:158]."
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on faith, under the section explaining the time when faith is no longer accepted, hadith 157, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Fudayl bin Ghazwan. Bukhari narrated it in the tafsir of Surah Anam, in the chapter, "no faith will benefit a soul," hadith 4635, from the hadith of Umara bin Qaqa through the same chain.
