The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The time is near when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep that he takes to the mountain peaks and the places where rain falls, fleeing with his religion from trials."
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة عن مالك عن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي صعصعة عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ يوشك أن يكون خير مال المسلم غنم يتبع بها شغف الجبال ومواقع القطر يفر بدينه من الفتن
Bukhari narrated it in Kitab al-Iman, Bab man al-din al-firar min al-fitan, hadith no. 19, from Abdullah bin Maslama Qanabi, with the same chain, and it is also found in Muwatta (Yahya): 2/970.
