The hair of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was longer than that which reaches the earlobes but shorter than that which reaches the shoulders.
حدثنا ابن نفيل حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي الزناد عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
كان شعر رسول الله ﷺ فوق الوفرة ودون الجمة
[Its isnad is hasan] Tirmidhi transmitted it, Clothing, chapter on what has been said regarding the jummah and letting hair grow, no. 1755, from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Zinad, through this route, and he said, hasan sahih gharib. Ibn Majah also narrated it, no. 3635.
