The Prophet ﷺ said, "When a woman applies perfume and then passes by a group of men so they catch her scent, she is such and such." He spoke in very strong terms.
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا يحيى أخبرنا ثابت بن عمارة حدثني غنيم بن قيس
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا استعطرت المرأة فمرت على القوم ليجدوا ريحها فهي كذا وكذا قال قولا شديدا
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Tirmidhi collected it, in the chapters on manners, in the chapter on the dislike of a woman going out perfumed, hadith no. 2786, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan, through this route, and he said, hasan sahih. Nasai also narrated it, hadith no. 5129.
