Rukanah wrestled with the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ threw him down. Rukanah said, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'The distinction between us and the polytheists is the turbans worn over the caps.'"

أن ركانة صارع النبي ﷺ فصرعه النبي ﷺ قال ركانة وسمعت النبي ﷺ يقول فرق ما بيننا وبين المشركين العمائم على القلانس
[Its isnad is daif] Tirmidhi reported it in the Book of Clothing, chapter on turbans over caps, hadith no. 1784, from Qutayba with the same chain, and he said, hasan gharib, but its isnad is not well established, and we do not know Abu Hasan Asqalani, nor Ibn Rukana.
