The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Mecca in the year of the Conquest wearing a black turban.
حدثنا أبو الوليد الطيالسي ومسلم بن إبراهيم وموسى بن إسمعيل قالوا حدثنا حماد عن أبي الزبير
أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل عام الفتح مكة وعليه عمامة سوداء
Sourcing, sahih. Reported by Tirmidhi, chapter on Clothing, section on what has been said about the black turban, no. 1735, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama, and he said, hasan sahih. Muslim also reported it, no. 1358, through another route from Abu Zubayr.
