We said to Anas, meaning Ibn Malik, "Which clothing was most beloved to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ," or "most pleasing to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?"He replied, "The striped Yemeni cloth."

قلنا لأنس يعني ابن مالك أي اللباس كان أحب إلى رسول الله ﷺ أو أعجب إلى رسول الله ﷺ قال الحبرة
Reported by Muslim, in the chapter on the excellence of wearing striped Yemeni garments, Hadith: 2079, from Hudbah, and Bukhari, in the chapter on cloaks, striped Yemeni garments, and mantles, Hadith: 5812, from the hadith of Hammam, with this wording.
