The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade entering bathhouses, then later permitted men to enter them while wearing waist-wrappers.
حدثنا موسى بن إسمعيل حدثنا حماد عن عبد الله بن شداد عن أبي عذرة
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن دخول الحمامات ثم رخص للرجال أن يدخلوها في الميازر
Reference, [Its chain is hasan] Narrated by Tirmidhi in the Book of Manners, chapter on what has been said about entering the bathhouse, no. 2802, and Ibn Majah, no. 3749, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama with this wording. Tirmidhi said, "Its chain is not that firm." Abu Uzrah's hadith is hasan, and the chain is firm, and praise be to Allah.
