Abu Zayd reported,
A man from the Ansar, with the same meaning, and he, meaning the Prophet ﷺ, said, "Had I been present before he was buried, he would not have been buried in the graveyards of the Muslims."

Its chain of transmission is sahih. Nasai narrated it in al-Kubra, no. 4973, from the hadith of Khalid al-Tahhan, through this route. Abu Zayd is Amr bin Akhtab.
