The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever frees his share of a jointly-owned slave is obligated to free the slave entirely, provided he has enough wealth to cover the slave's value. If he does not have such wealth, then only his own share is freed."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن موسى الرازي أخبرنا عيسى بن يونس حدثنا عبيد الله عن نافع
قال رسول الله ﷺ من أعتق شركا من مملوك له فعليه عتقه كله إن كان له ما يبلغ ثمنه وإن لم يكن له مال عتق نصيبه
