Hammam said, "The people of the pre-Islamic era used to say that no one dies and is buried except that an owl emerges from his grave."I asked, "And what about his statement regarding Safar?"He replied, "I heard that the people of the pre-Islamic era used to consider the month of Safar inauspicious, so the Prophet ﷺ said, 'There is no Safar.'"Muhammad said, "We have also heard someone say that it is a pain that strikes the belly, and they used to claim it was contagious, so he said, 'There is no Safar.'"
