The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no contagion, no evil omen from owls, no influence of stars on rain, and no ill fortune in the month of Safar."
حدثنا القعنبي حدثنا عبد العزيز يعني ابن محمد عن العلاء عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا عدوى ولا هامة ولا نوء ولا صفر
Muslim narrated it, in the Book of Greetings, Chapter: There is no contagion, no bird-omen, no owl-omen, and no safar, etc., 106/2220, after hadith no. 2221, from the hadith of Ala bin Abdul-Rahman bin Yaqub, with this chain.
