A physician asked the Prophet ﷺ about using a frog in a medicinal preparation, and the Prophet ﷺ forbade him from killing it.
حدثنا محمد بن كثير أخبرنا سفيان عن ابن أبي ذئب عن سعيد بن خالد عن سعيد بن المسيب
أن طبيبا سأل النبي ﷺ عن ضفدع يجعلها في دواء فنهاه النبي ﷺ عن قتلها
[Sahih] Nasai narrated it in the chapter on hunting, the section on the frog, hadith: 4360, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Dhib through this route, and Hakim graded it sahih: 4/411, and Dhahabi concurred with him.Saeed is the son of Khalid bin Abdullah bin Qariz.
