Whenever the table was cleared, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say, "Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, and blessed praise. Praise that is never enough, never to be bidden farewell, and indispensable, our Lord."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا يحيى عن ثور عن خالد بن معدان
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا رفعت المائدة قال الحمد لله حمدا كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه غير مكفي ولا مودع ولا مستغنى عنه ربنا
