The most beloved bone-meat to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was that of the sheep.
حدثنا هارون بن عبد الله حدثنا أبو داود عن زهير عن أبي إسحق عن سعد بن عياض
كان أحب العراق إلى رسول الله ﷺ عراق الشاة
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Nasai narrated it in al-Kubra, no. 6654, from Harun bin Abdullah, and Tirmidhi in al-Shamail, no. 168, from the hadith of Abu Dawud Tayalisi with this wording, and it is in his Musnad, no. 388. Abu Ishaq narrated with "an" without specifying direct hearing, and the hadith of Bukhari, no. 3340, and Muslim, no. 194, makes it unnecessary.
