The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you eats, let him eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, let him drink with his right hand, for Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand."
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري أخبرني أبو بكر بن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عمر
أن النبي ﷺ قال إذا أكل أحدكم فليأكل بيمينه وإذا شرب فليشرب بيمينه فإن الشيطان يأكل بشماله ويشرب بشماله
Its chain of transmission is: Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks, in the chapter on the etiquettes of food and drink and their rulings, hadith no. 2020, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna in this manner, and it is also found in his Juz, hadith no. 5, and in Musnad Ahmad, 8/2.
