"I read in the Torah that the blessing of a meal lies in washing before it." I mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "The blessing of a meal lies in washing before it and washing after it."Sufyan used to dislike washing before the meal.

قرأت في التوراة أن بركة الطعام الوضوء قبله فذكرت ذلك للنبي ﷺ فقال بركة الطعام الوضوء قبله والوضوء بعده وكان سفيان يكره الوضوء قبل الطعام
Its isnad is daif. Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Foods, chapter on wudu before and after eating, hadith 1846, from the hadith of Qays bin Rabi, with this wording, and he mentioned some remarks.Qays bin Rabi is daif, and the hadith was declared daif by Abu Hatim Razi and others.
