Abdullah bin Ubayd reported,

I was with my father during the time of Ibn Zubayr, sitting beside Abdullah bin Umar, when Abbad bin Abdullah bin Zubayr said, "We have heard that one should begin with the evening meal before the prayer."Abdullah bin Umar replied, "Woe to you! What sort of evening meal did they have? Do you suppose it was like your father's evening meal?"
