The Prophet ﷺ reported this hadith, though not in its complete form. He said, "Satan does not open a closed door, nor untie a tied knot, nor uncover a covered vessel. And the little corrupt creature, the mouse, may set people's house, or houses, ablaze."
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة القعنبي عن مالك عن أبي الزبير
عن النبي ﷺ بهذا الخبر وليس بتمامه قال فإن الشيطان لا يفتح بابا غلقا ولا يحل وكاء ولا يكشف إناء وإن الفويسقة تضرم على الناس بيتهم أو بيوتهم
